The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 13th and runs through Sunday, August 19th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 5.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog.

You did awesome Kelsey! I can’t wait to read your review for Something Strange and Deadly! I only just scraped past 1,000 pages so I think you did great with your reading.

And it was such a good book!
Awesome job Kelsey! I’m so glad you enjoyed Jenny Pox, it’s one of my favourites!
Thanks! I wasn’t sure what I would think but it was really good, hoping to read the others soon
You got really close to your goals and that’s great even though you didn’t manage to read all 1500 pages. That is a big goal by the way.
I hope next time we both manage to reach our goals.
I didn’t manage to participate at any of the twitter chats, I always forget when they are and the time usually isn’t good for me.
Thank you, I tried to push myself this time, and I am happy that I got pretty close.
Yeah, good luck to us next time!
You did great, Kelsey! You read some great books, too. I wish I could’ve participated more at the tail-end of the readathon, but darn life — it gets in the way of my books!
I’m glad you participated!
Thanks Kristilyn! Yeah life can get in the way, but at least you had fun right!
Nice readathon! It’s always hard choosing between reading, challenges and commenting. There is so much going on that I always feel like I missing something cool.
You did great! Our page counts were really close and I finished 4 books too
Can’t wait till January
