This is a meme hosted by Stepping Out of the Page, every Thursday. This is to showcase books that you’ve received for review (or just books that you have and really want to read/review) but haven’t yet got around to reading, in order to give the book some extra publicity.
This week, I’m going to highlight Clarity by Kim Harrington
I bought this and I’ve had this on my Kobo for over a year now I think, but I kept forgetting I had it. It’s hard to remember books that are on an eReader compared to ones on a shelf. I plan to get to it eventually, and then continue with the series if I like it. Have you read it, any thoughts?
Published March 1st 2011 by Scholastic, Inc.
Description from Goodreads:
Clarity “Clare” Fern sees things. Things no one else can see. Things like stolen kisses and long-buried secrets. All she has to do is touch a certain object, and the visions come to her. It’s a gift.
And a curse.
When a teenage girl is found murdered, Clare’s ex-boyfriend wants her to help solve the case–but Clare is still furious at the cheating jerk. Then Clare’s brother–who has supernatural gifts of his own–becomes the prime suspect, and Clare can no longer look away. Teaming up with Gabriel, the smoldering son of the new detective, Clare must venture into the depths of fear, revenge, and lust in order to track the killer. But will her sight fail her just when she needs it most?
