• What The Spell by Brittany Geragotelis- Definitely not worth the purchase, I didn’t really like it but it involved witches and I got the second book to review so I figured I might as well. Also the library didn’t have any copies.

Gifted (from publisher):

• Life’s a Witch by Brittany Geragotelis- I was given this from the publisher, which I’m thankful for, but to be honest I marked this as a DNF.

I haven’t done one of these in a few weeks, and I have a feeling I’m going to forget one of the books I got. It has been a difficult last few weeks for me, I hit a big reading and blogging slump and life in general just hit hard. So I’m trying to get back into it now, and what better way then some new fresh books! This list has books from the last two weeks.

• Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon #10 by Naoko Takeuchi

Gifted (from publisher):

• Dark Triumph by R.L. Lafevers

Netgalley:

• When the Stars Threw Down Their Spears by Kersten Hamilton- The author contacted me and I was able to get a copy of this right away, I loved the first two books and I’m so excited to read this last one! Thank you!
• School Spirits by Rachel Hawkins

Review:

• Breaking Point by Kristen Simmons- I received this from the publisher as a gift from the Ottawa meet a few weeks back, but I didn’t realise at first that it was the second in the series.

Library:

• Article 5 by Kristen Simmons- I picked this up because of the other book above.
• Meant to Be by Lauren Morill- I’ve been wanting to read this for a while, and I feel like I needed a break from all the books I own. And what better time to read a romance than just before spring!

Showcase Sunday (30)

I haven’t done one of these in a while, and this week I just seemed to have gotten quite a few books! Last Sunday I went to the Ottawa Blogger Mix and Mingle and met some awesome bloggers. They had a gift bag with a bunch of ARCs in them, and there was also a book swap where I got some awesome stuff!

Won:

• Cinder by Marissa Meyer- I won this from Henrietta @Leisure Reads in a giveaway this month!
• Scarlet by Marissa Meyer- Henrietta sent me this along with Cinder, which I was not expecting but am so happy that she did!

Bought:

• Some Girls Are by Courtney Summers- I really liked her other book This is Not a Test, and this one sounded interesting.
• Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead- They had this on sale, and so many people have told me to give this series a chance, so I figured why not!
• Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen- I’ve always wanted to try out her books, so I picked two of her books up with my birthday money.
• The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen

• Dark Tide by Elizabeth Haynes- I forgot to add this to my picture since I’m reading it now, oops.

• The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls- I was given this for the Bingo challenge I’m doing this year, as a recommendation from another participant. It looks good, not normally what I’d read but I want to try new stuff this year.
