Review:

  • Breaking Point by Kristen Simmons- I received this from the publisher as a gift from the Ottawa meet a few weeks back, but I didn’t realise at first that it was the second in the series.

Library:

  • Article 5 by Kristen Simmons- I picked this up because of the other book above.
  • Meant to Be by Lauren Morill- I’ve been wanting to read this for a while, and I feel like I needed a break from all the books I own. And what better time to read a romance than just before spring!

Amazon:

So you all know that I have a Kobo, but for the purpose of being able to read some books that would otherwise be unavailable to me here, I downloaded the Kindle application for my computer. I hate reading books on my computer, but I can manage. Here’s what I got for free from Amazon this week:

Showcase Sunday (13)

Bought:

  • Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas-I originally read this thanks to NetGalley, and I just knew I had to have my own copy. I love the UK version much better than the one we are supposed to have here, so thanks to the Book Depository I got it!
  • Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout- So happy to have this! I also ordered the first book so it could match on my shelf (had an ebook the first time I read it). Waiting for Obsidian paperback to come in so I can read both in a row!

NetGalley:

  • Shadows by Ilsa J. Bick- I read the first book Ashes but never actually reviewed it last year, but I’m still so excited to read the second of this series!

NetGalley:

  • Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff- I was so excited when I got accepted for this. Japanese inspired culture and Griffins definitely made me want it.

Won:

Library:

  • Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins- Haven’t been able to find it at the store, but definitely want to see what it’s like so had to borrow it.
  • Entwined by Heather Dixon- The shiny cover made me see it on the shelves, and I knew it was on my TBR list so grabbed it.
  • Ascendant by Diana Peterfreund- I didn’t realize that this was actually the second book, so I am on a waiting list for the first.
