Showcase Sunday (25)

This is hosted by Books, Biscuits, and Tea and is meant to help us show off what books we receive during the week, no matter how we got them (library, review, bought).

I have quite a few wintery/Christmas themed books this week, so excited to read them all! If you know of any others that you’d recommend let me know.

I know I had a book ban in effect, but I was allowed to buy books since it was a buy 3 get one free deal at Chapters and Joe had chosen two already for his work. The first book was like $5 in the bargain area so I figured I’d get the second in the series too!

  • Word and Deed by Susannah Noel-I don’t have a picture for this, but I really liked the first book so when she asked if I wanted an ARC of the second I had to say yes!

What did you get this week? Leave a link or comment with what you got!

  1. Oh I ALMOST got Ruby red! It was on sale at chapters but I don’t do great with historicals so I passed on it. But it ‘s so pretty!!! Nice haul!

  2. Great picks! I bought Ruby Red several weeks ago but haven’t had a chance to read it yet. Hope you enjoy it! I’ve heard nothing but good things about it.

    Have a great week! 🙂

  3. Great books, Kelsey! I’ve heard awesome things about this series and I love the covers! I’ll have to read them at some point … they look super good! And I love a good deal! Definitely a good reason to pick up some books. 🙂

  4. Those covers are so pretty. Great deal too! I’ve also been reading wintery books too, wish there were more of them. Looking forward to your reviews.

    • I think next year I’m going to spend more time searching for winter books then I can have them scheduled all through December! If there’s enough for that lol.

  5. I keep seeing Ruby Red for $5 at Indigo and it’s sooo tempting every single time! I have to stop going in there or I’ll cave! Good choices though, I hope you enjoy them 🙂

  6. I almost picked that one up! I was there for the Buy 3 Get the 4th one free deal, but I didn’t get anything mostly because I knew I had a pile of books at home to read. I mean, yea there might never be such a good sale/deal at the same time again, but I can always go to the library!

I love comments! Feel free to leave one, and if it doesn't show up right away don't worry, I just have to approve it.
