The past few years have held more surprises than part-angel Clara Gardner could ever have anticipated. Yet from the dizzying highs of first love, to the agonizing low of losing someone close to her, the one thing she can no longer deny is that she was never meant to live a normal life.

Since discovering the special role she plays among the other angel-bloods, Clara has been determined to protect Tucker Avery from the evil that follows her . . . even if it means breaking both their hearts. Leaving town seems like the best option, so she’s headed back to California – and so is Christian Prescott, the irresistible boy from the vision that started her on this journey in the first place.

As Clara makes her way in a world that is frighteningly new, she discovers that the fallen angel who attacked her is watching her every move. And he’s not the only one. . . . With the battle against the Black Wings looming, Clara knows she must finally fulfill her destiny. But it won’t come without sacrifices and betrayal.

In the riveting finale of the Unearthly series, Clara must decide her fate once and for all.

What I thought:

This series is by far one of the best when it comes to angels, that I’ve ever read. It’s just a combination of the characters, their trials and all the excitement that goes on, while not sounding too religious or preachy.

Clara starts this one off going to University, and even the simplicity of that draws you in at first, especially when Angela and Christian are there too. In the last book some things happened with Tucker, so in this book she’s finding herself drawn to Christian a bit. She’s worried though that their being together is simply based on a higher up purpose, and not really for themselves. So while I won’t say who she ends up with, I wasn’t expecting the choice but I definitely think it was the best one she could get!

Not only was the romance and tension great, but the whole visions and possible danger coming really kept me wanting to read on. I mean, the ending of the book was just epic and one part almost had me crying and ready to curse the author! But I think everything worked out for the best, and I wouldn’t have changed any of it.

I really recommend picking up this series, whether you’re a fan of books with angels in it or not. I wasn’t really thinking I’d like it when I started but I can say now that this series was awesome!
