This is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine, that showcases upcoming releases that we’re eagerly waiting for.
This week I’ve selected:
Title: Witch Finder (Witch Finder #1)
Author: Ruth Warburton
Release Date: January 2nd 2014 by Hodder Children’s Books
From Goodreads:
London. 1880. In the slums of Spitalfields apprentice blacksmith Luke is facing initiation into the Malleus Maleficorum, the fearsome brotherhood dedicated to hunting and killing witches.
Luke’s final test is to pick a name at random from the Book of Witches, a name he must track down and kill within a month, or face death himself. Luke knows that tonight will change his life forever. But when he picks out sixteen-year-old Rosa Greenwood, Luke has no idea that his task will be harder than he could ever imagine.

I really liked this author’s other series, the Winter Trilogy, so I can’t wait to get my hands on this one. I love books that involve witches and luckily the release date for this is pretty soon! I really like the cover for it too.
What are you waiting for this week?
Great pick, it was on Netgalley the other week if you wanted to try it sooner. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Hmm I think with this one I would love to see the pretty cover in person. Thank you for letting me know though!
I haven’t heard of this one but sounds good, hope you get to read it soon.
Thanks 🙂 I’m hoping my library gets a copy too so I can read it faster.
I need to read this series! I keep seeing it on Goodreads, and the covers are beautiful. I’m doing the book tour for it, so I’ve got to get going on that.
Mind checking out my WoW?

Ooh definitely let me know what you think of it when you get to it then!
Such a pretty cover! I haven’t read the other series, but they do sound good. Unfortunately, I struggled through Witch Finder, but I hope you enjoy it! 🙂

The other series is pretty good, gets better as the books go on.
I appreciate your input! I’m hoping I enjoy it too 🙂
I’ve heard so many good things about this author, but I still haven’t gotten round to picking up one of her books! Maybe next year I will, haha.

Such a pretty cover! I love that! 🙂 I’ve read the first book in this series but really need to continue on with it!
This has me so curious I am just waiting on a few reviews till I decide. Excellent choice!
I’ve been wondering about picking up Warburton’s books after reading your reviews. I didn’t know she has this new book coming out in January – the blurb sounds really great – thanks for sharing!
Oh what a lovely cover, and the synopsis sounds interesting too, which is a bonus 😀 Thank you for sharing!
