  1. Sins of the Angels
  2. Sins of the Son
  3. Sins of the Lost

Heaven and Hell are on the brink of war as Lucifer builds his Nephilim army and waits for his new agenda to become a reality — that of having a Nephilimchild of his own bloodline to lead his forces to cataclysmic victory.

With rumors of the pending war rampant on Earth, Alex fights to save humanity from its own panic – leaving little time for her fledgling
relationship with Seth, the man with heavenly origins who has captured her heart. But when Nephilim children begin to disappear, along with Alex’s own vulnerable niece, the inevitable war between Heaven and Hell becomes as personal as sin.

Heaven has its own plans to fight the coming apocalypse, but first it needs Seth back. Asked to betray the man she loves, Alex must turn for help to the soulmate she thought she’d given up — the Archangel Aramael, who may be her last chance to save her family and humanity from the ashes of Lucifer’s Armageddon.

What I thought:

This series has been really good so far and in this installment things get even more awesome. The beginning starts slowly where the action is concerned, but the whole time there’s so much tension and drama. Alex and Seth’s relationship is not all it could be and they have problems but they don’t talk and this is a problem.

Throughout the story secrets are kept and although I would have communicated if I loved someone, in the end I can see why Alex had issues with this. You’ll find out at the end of the book too. She fights and deals with so much more after everything that’s happened so far, and everything that continues to do so. She really is strong and while I wish she would have gotten help or talked about things I understand that it’s not easy to do so. Especially if it involves angels and they might think she’s crazy.

So many decisions from this and past books add up to what happens in this book and it was crazy. There was action and angels fighting and Aramael comes back and I so wished she would have been with him more, poor guy. A bunch of things happened that I had no idea about. The ending was really good but it also made me sad for reasons you’ll find out when you read it.

If you love angel books that are different from others, have action, love and a crazy apocalypse story then go read these! There’s a fourth book coming eventually too!

  1. Oh this sounds like an interesting series. I have a weakness for books about angels and/or demons, especially when angels aren’t depicted as being so angelic after all 🙂

I love comments! Feel free to leave one, and if it doesn't show up right away don't worry, I just have to approve it.
