Synopsis from Goodreads:

In the conclusion to the trilogy that Publishers Weekly called “a roaring—and addictive—gothic world,” Eleanor Fitt must control her growing power, face her feelings for Daniel, and confront the evil necromancer Marcus…all before it’s too late.

Susan Dennard will leave readers breathless and forever changed in the concluding pages of this riveting ride.

What I Thought:

I was accepted to read a copy of this from Edelweiss.

When I saw this on Edelweiss I knew I had to grab it. I love this series and the fact that I could read it sooner was the best. I’m still buying the final print when it’s out, especially since I can’t wait to see how the cover looks on my shelf.

If you haven’t read this series, I really suggest you do. It’s got zombies, dark magic, some steam-punk, and of course romance. In this one you even get to hear about Egypt as they travel trying to stop Marcus. Which of course involves mummies and other awesome stuff.

If you’re worried about the series not ending well, you shouldn’t, because this one lived up to my expectations. The story was constantly moving and I enjoyed all of it. Certain things happened that not everyone might like, and sometimes not so great decisions were made, but I have to say that the ending still worked. Not everyone can be perfect, and that really shows in the characters in this book. They try their hardest to stop Marcus, even when things don’t always work.

I don’t want to say too much more and give everything away, but this is definitely a series I will re-read. Seriously, go pick this up!
