The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @

~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~

It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog. This is your news post, so personalize it! Include as much as you want or as little. Be creative, it can be a vlog or just a showcase of your goodies. Link up once a week or once a month, you decide. Book haul can include library books, yard sale finds, arcs and bought books..share them!

#FitReader Updates

I’ve been failing so bad at keeping up with this! The motivation just isn’t there but I’m going to keep trying.

Other News/Blogging Stuff

  • While I wasn’t able to go to BEA because of lack of funds, I did participate in Armchair BEA! It was a lot of fun and I met and followed some new people. I can’t believe I never did this before!
  • Amber at Young Adult Indulgences also wrote a post Things To Do Instead of BEA and I thought it was super funny so I wanted to share it. I’m sure a lot of people can relate!
  • Totally random, but The Mary Sue blog posted this cool post! “Digital Artist Shows What Animated Women Look Like With Less Unnatural Faces” and Frozen and a few other more animated characters are on there. I thought it was pretty interesting.

  1. Gah! Your haul is GORGEOUS Kelsey! My main goal was to get Truthwitch at BEA and because the publisher messed up the times for the drop, we missed out on it completely *cries* I’m planning on BEGGING the Canadian Distributor for it when it gets closer to the release date, you can be sure of that LOL. I hope you love it in any case and I look forward to reading your thoughts on it. Hopefully you’ll get to attend BEA soon, but if you don’t next year, I’ll probably be joining you for Armchair BEA next year. Or just living through your posts and pictures if you do attend 😀

    • Thank you! Aww I hope you’re able to get a copy from them closer to the date then! I’m going to be pre-ordering my own copy soon, if not for borrowing though I don’t think I’d have been able to read it early lol.
I’m not sure if I can go next year but at least if not we can do ABEA together! 🙂

    • Thank you! It was actually pretty easy, all I did was copy the tweet link and add it into the html section of the post and it linked up easy!
Twitter is the best, you should definitely play around 🙂

    • Thank you! I don’t have Instagram but I always end up tweeting a pic of my books so I figured it would save me some time doing it this way.
Thanks! I’m excited to read all of them, and I’ve already finished Soundless and loved it 😀

  2. AHHH soundless and truthwitch? I am so unbelievably jealous haha but i hope you have a lovely time with both of them!

  3. Soundless! Yay! I really want to read that one. And I’ve been hearing soooooo many good things about Truthwitch! I think I should add it to my wishlist …

I like this way of doing the updates! I always found it to be such a pain to write update posts when I had lots of books coming in. Maybe I can write more of them now that I’ll be having a book budget!

Enjoy all your books! 🙂 And yes, Armchair BEA was a lot of fun!

    • Soundless was good and I’m really enjoying Truthwitch so far!
It’s so much easier than finding and downloading pictures, linking books, and trying to keep organized what I got. Book budgets are so helpful! I get the bulk of my stuff from the library now and it’s just as exciting 🙂
      Thank you!
