Synopsis from Goodreads:

When Autumn Collins finds herself accidentally locked in the library for an entire weekend, she doesn’t think things could get any worse. But that’s before she realizes that Dax Miller is locked in with her. Autumn doesn’t know much about Dax except that he’s trouble. Between the rumors about the fight he was in (and that brief stint in juvie that followed it) and his reputation as a loner, he’s not exactly the ideal person to be stuck with. Still, she just keeps reminding herself that it is only a matter of time before Jeff, her almost-boyfriend, realizes he left her in the library and comes to rescue her.

Only he doesn’t come. No one does.

Instead it becomes clear that Autumn is going to have to spend the next couple of days living off vending-machine food and making conversation with a boy who clearly wants nothing to do with her. Except there is more to Dax than meets the eye. As he and Autumn first grudgingly, and then not so grudgingly, open up to each other, Autumn is struck by their surprising connection. But can their feelings for each other survive once the weekend is over and Autumn’s old life, and old love interest, threaten to pull her from Dax’s side?

What I Thought:

Kasie West does not disappoint in her new book! I’ve loved everything I’ve read by her so far and of course I loved this one. And who wouldn’t want to read a book about someone being stuck in a library with a cute guy? Yeah I kind of devoured this book. Did I mention that I finished this in a day?

Being stuck in a library does sound kind of scary though, especially if it’s cold and you don’t have much food. Then again so doea being stuck anywhere where you’re not able to do much. Luckily she ends up having Dax stuck in there with her, and at first he’s kind of rude but he kept doing little things to take care of her which was really sweet. And I liked him more and more as I read.

This book isn’t all about the library. That’s only a portion in the beginning of the book. You get to see what happens after they both get out and how they interact with each other afterwards. It’s kind of awkward and you’re rooting for them to be together but you’re not sure how or if it will work out. But it was cute and just what I was in the mood to read.

I loved this book and I’m already waiting for her next one to be out. This is one of my favourite authors for cute contemporary romances!
