Review:

  • This book was so cute and fun! I would have read it in one sitting if I didn’t have to work.
  • I really liked that it was set on a cruise. Her stressing about the competition starts out as the main story, but when she meets Lenny again she develops a crush. I liked Russ better though.
  • The end kind of went fast, but I loved every second of it. I was smiling throughout the whole book. Lots of funny moments in this!
  • I loved ‘Meant to Be’ by this author and I loved this one as well. Definitely a fan now!

Review:

  • I liked this book but it wasn’t my favourite by this author.
  • Loved the idea of them switching and trying a different sport on the ice. A few things were predictable but I still enjoyed it.
  • The romance was cute but I felt like some of it was rushed, especially near the end. I would have liked that spread out, as well as their final performance/game at the end.

  • This book had some super funny moments and I really enjoyed it! The sheep scene was hilarious.
  • Avery doesn’t have a huge part, and she’s not around much in the middle of the book, I would have like to know her more but she was a good character. I really liked Ruth too and I liked how she interacted with Scarlett.
  • The fanfic story she wrote was really interesting, the ending part of it was the best though. I would have read something like that on its own. It didn’t take up too much space in the book but it was fun reading it.

Review:

  • I loved this book, and I really think it was even better than the first! Not only was there the romance that we came to love, but politics, possible war and so much more was added. Including a little magic.
  • Shahrzad was just as tough and stubborn and intense as before, but you can’t help but like her. I really liked her sister too and I’m glad she plays a bigger part in this one.
  • It’s the last book and I’m sad there won’t be another, but this is definitely a series I will want to re-read someday and I think only having two book worked out well for it

Review:

  • Parts of the book, especially when they were hiding, felt a little slow. I wanted more suspense. The last third of the book was super good though! A lot of stuff happened that I wouldn’t have suspected or even figured out on my own.
  • Really liked the characters. Riley was dealing with PTSD and survivors guilt, but she still managed to do so much during the book, even if she didn’t feel that way. I liked that she had knowledge thanks to her father being a cop.
  • Max had his own POV. It was done differently than Riley and I liked that it seemed to match him really well. The dictionary descriptions went well for each one, but I also liked that it helped you understand how he was thinking a bit more.

  • It was interesting but I thought the story would be different based on the description. I can’t pinpoint what exactly I was expecting, but it was missing something.
  • Nix’s father had a lot of problems in this book and I had a hard time liking him, I still didn’t near the end, but if he would have communicated with his daughter more a lot of things could have gone smoother.
  • The traveling aspect was the most interesting, but some of the rules about the maps really sucked for the characters. I wanted to more about the traveling and how it worked. We do learn some crucial things but I wanted more.
  • Overall it was an ok book but not one that I loved.

  • Really liked this mix of a western with magic and monsters and machinery! Great debut start for this author.
  • The little romance was cute and didn’t take over the main story of her getting justice.
  • The whole plot was really good and had me so absorbed into the book. I couldn’t wait to find out the truth of what happened and how everything would work out.
  • Also glad it’s a stand-alone, everything was wrapped up perfectly!

  • I thought this was a series the whole time I was reading it, but I was really happy it was a stand alone book! Overall I really enjoyed it.
  • I loved the setting and all the different assassin Families. A few of them I would have liked to know more about though.
  • Lea was pretty awesome even though at times she did annoy me because of her decisions. But I liked how hard she tried to make things right. I also really liked Les! He was probably my favourite just for his cheerful nature.

  • Loved the first half of the book! After about 60% it got slow and I wasn’t sure I liked the direction it was taking. It sped up near the end and ended up being really good though.
  • The story about the gods at the beginning of each chapter was super interesting, and I really liked it. I would totally read about just that as a separate book.
  • Overall I liked it and can’t wait to continue this series.

  • I really liked this one! It was a paranormal through the eyes of the “monsters”.
  • Reminded me of the show Supernatural a little bit, and I liked seeing the other side of the people being hunted.
  • The main character was troubled and perfect for this story. I won’t say what she was, but it was interesting and I just kept wanting to read it.
  • It looks like it’s a stand-alone book on Goodreads, but if that changes I will definitely be continuing this series.
